Principal’s Corner

Dear Seth Low Families,

Welcome back to the 2025–2026 school year!

We are thrilled to open our doors once again and welcome our students and families into a year filled with limitless opportunities for growth, learning, and success. At Seth Low, we believe in meeting every student where they are and supporting them as they reach new heights—academically, socially, and emotionally. Seth Low is a place where every lion learns, leads, and belongs.

This year, we will continue to show our Seth Low PRIDE and build a positive school culture in everything we do:

  • Positivity in the face of challenges
  • Respect for ourselves and others
  • Integrity in our actions
  • Determination to succeed
  • Empathy and Equity in all we do

Academically, we are focused on closing the achievement gap in reading by embedding interventions into weekly schedules. Students will receive tiered instruction based on their individualized needs, and literacy will be implemented across all content areas to support comprehensive learning.

We are also committed to fostering student ownership and amplifying student voice, creating opportunities for students to actively engage in project-based instruction that is meaningful and relevant. Our teachers will work in collaborative teams, analyzing data to plan student-centered, standards-based instruction that ensures every child receives the support and challenge they need to thrive and master—or exceed—grade-level expectations.

Our staff is dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive, and inspiring environment where every child feels seen, heard, and valued. We look forward to partnering with you to ensure your child has a successful school year.

Thank you for being a vital part of our Seth Low family.  Let’s make the 2025-26 school year unforgettable!

With PRIDE and Appreciation,
Christina Monfasani
