Musical Theater

This class is designed to be an introduction to theater. Students will be introduced to certain theatrical techniques that will help them develop as a performer. We will be exploring such areas of theater like: The Actor's Toolbox, Character Development, Tableau, Improv, Monologue, and Playwriting. Using these skills, students will begin to explore working as an ensemble. Students will work collaboratively in groups to create new and original work. They will also gain knowledge of how to use their voice and body expressively.
